Accommodation on the main hunting concession (Kalahari): You will find a fully equipped, Luxurious tented camp with lapa and boma in the dry river bed among the dunes and camel thorn trees. The camp consists of 4 breathtaking thatched tents, each with an en-suite bathroom sleeping 2 guests. The tents are far enough apart to provide total privacy. The Lapa provides a bar, dining and lounge facilities, while the boma provide outdoor barbeque and enjoyment for star-lit evenings Torgo's Safari Lodge offers what few others can.
Situated alongside the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, there are abundant wildlife, passing through our area. Our lodge is surrounded by waves or red dunes and a roof of camel thorn trees. Unique to our area are the wide open spaces and open skies. Our lodge is situated in the Auob riverbed, which is dry most of the year. Attractions: We have plenty of wildlife on our area. Game drives are done early at daybreak and at sundown, ending the drive with a sundowner on one of our highest dunes, overlooking the magnificent Kalahari.
Situated 5 km from our lodge are the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, which can be entered in the mornings for self-drives and picnics. Our main drinking waterhole is situated close to the main facilities walking distance. We offer guided nature walks and bird watching. Accommodation: You will find a fully equipped, luxurious tented camp with a lapa and boma in the dry river bed among the dunes and camel thorn trees.
The camp consists of 4 luxury tents, each with an en-suite bathroom, sleeping 2 guests, and 2 luxury chalets also with en-suite bathroom. The units are far enough apart to provide total privacy. The lapa provides a bar, dining and lounge facilities, while the boma provide outdoor barbecue and enjoyment for star-lit evenings. Check-In 02:00 PM Check-Out 11:00 AM
